On-line Gallery | Backstage Gallery at the Art Center
July 7 - August 31, 2023
In celebration of Dover's 400th anniversary, The Art Center is pleased to announce a special exhibition featuring Dover Artists in the new Backstage Gallery. This exhibit will highlight some of Dover's finest artists. Artists who live or have a studio in Dover are welcome to submit their work.
DATES:
Submissions Due – June 26, 2023
Artist Fee: $20 Non Member, $10 Members
Payment via ArtCall
Notifications Made – June 27, 2023
Delivery of Work – Shipped or hand delivered no later than June 29, 2023
Opening – July 7, 2023
Closing - August 31, 2023
GUIDELINES:
Artists must be 18 years or older
Artists must live in or have a studio located in Dover, New Hampshire.
Artists working in any media are welcome to enter up to (3) original works per artist will be accepted.
Up to three 2-D or 3-D recent works, no larger than 16” x 20" (Including the frame) may be submitted per artist. Digital submitted electronically should be JPEGs only. The JPEG file must be 300dpi at least 1200 pixels in one direction.
All artwork must be for sale
Small works gallery commission on sales is 30%.
SELECTED ARTWORK:
Selected works must be delivered ready to hang/install.
Artwork misrepresented or considered unsuitable for presentation will be refused.
DELIVERY AND SHIPPED ARTWORK:
Deadlines for delivered and shipped works are firm.
Delivery of accepted pieces will only be received during the stated days/hours.
All work must be packaged in a manner that allows the materials to be re-used for return.
Shipped works must be accompanied by a prepaid, return shipment label.
ENTRY FEE
Members $10 | Non-member $20 nonrefundable fee per entry entitles the submission of up to three images (one image per artwork).
AGREEMENT: The Art Center reserves the right to photograph an accepted work for publication and publicity purposes.
